Land-Atmosphere-Water (LAWS) Resources Planning Model

AgCEL provided staff support for the creation of a Land-Atmosphere-Water Simulation (LAWS) model for the San Joaquin Valley. The LAWS model proposes to simulate the physical processes and water management practices affecting the supply and demand for water resources. In turn, these results were used as inputs to the CALifornia SIMulation (CALSIM II) water resources planning model project developed jointly by the Bureau of Reclamation and the California Department of Water Resources.
